Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Can I use chicken thighs instead of chicken breast?
Yes! Thighs are juicier but may take slightly longer to cook. Pound evenly for best results.
Can I bake the chicken instead of frying?
Yes. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden.
Can I prepare this ahead of time?
Chicken and dressing can be prepped ahead, but assemble the sandwich just before serving for best texture.
What type of bread works best?
Thick sandwich bread, ciabatta, or baguette work well. Fresh bread is ideal.
How do I make it extra crispy?
Double-coat the chicken (flour → egg → breadcrumbs) and fry in hot oil. Drain on paper towels.
